Petrol Citroen C3: what changes with a remap

With a petrol engine the remap works through the ECU's ignition, fuelling and turbo boost tables. Re-calibrating them within safe limits releases power that is already there, rather than adding anything to the engine.

Citroen C3 1.4 73 against other C3 engines

Of the 8 petrol C3 engines in our data, this one comes 8th for power gain, which is 7 bhp below the C3 petrol average of 22 bhp.

Across our whole catalogue the average petrol remap adds 27 bhp and 51 Nm, so this engine's 15 bhp and 29 Nm sits below that benchmark.
